I am in California and just received a non renewal notice from the company I have been insured by without a claim for 32 years. I started investigating other companies and found that most are not writing new policies in California. I received quotes from several agencies but the coverage was less and the premium much higher. The exception was Bamboo. The agent took my information over the phone and I was approved within minutes. The whole process was not only very easy but the coverage and premium were comparable to my old policy and I was able to set up coverage to start when my old policy expires. Very good experience.

I found this insurance company because it's been hard to find home insurance coverage in CA as of late. But I've been thoroughly impressed with their communication when there was a leak in my house with damage to my garage. It took them about a week to review the claim and get it all fixed. I believe some people said they might be slow but that hasn't been my experience at all. Collins, my adjuster, sent out an inspector and got everything up and going so fast! Can't recommend & thank them enough.
